Lovely original ships light in quality brass. These lights have all the signs of wear and a life at sea. There are the odd bits of paint on them plus some silvering around the mounting plate. They are heavy and solid, real 50's quality and getting much harder to find. Many come with replacement glass, it's correct in size but is new, the odd one has an older glass which is dulled. The internal fittings are however all new, they are the correct ceramic type and take a standard BC Bayonet bulb. This means you get the best of both worlds, heaps of vintage cool but a brand new fitting that will last many many years. These lights require wiring up correctly. They have good seals however they are not rated for wet area's or for outdoor use. Please note each light is very unique, the condition, marks and patina can vary as can the glass. I do my best to match them when customers buy more than 1 but however hard I try there are always at least subtle differences. They have all had a very unique life and as such each light tells it's own story.
